Beatriz Acuña

Beatriz Acuña was born in Santiago de Chile. She is a professional dancer and studied dance at the National Conservatory of Santiago. At 22 years old, she left Chile for France, where she worked as a dancer and choreographer in contemporary dancing. Beatriz then became a practitioner in manual therapy and an ostheopath, and currently works in her own practice in Grenoble, where she lives with her husband and their two daughters.

Spirituality has always been strong in her life, dedicated to art and healing. Beatriz has been a practitioner of Vipassana Buddhist meditation for 14 years, and a student of Zen for 10 years. Her first shamanic experiences date back to childhood, and she shares this sensibility with her mother and her three sisters. In Chile, she met the Mapuche shamanic tradition, and in France, the Foundation for Shamanic Studies, where she was trained.
