Three Year Program
The Three Year Program of Advanced Initiations in Shamanism and Shamanic Healing™ was developed through decades of research and is widely considered unparalleled in the world. Michael Harner himself called it his life’s work. It involves intensive extended training in progressively higher levels of very advanced shamanism, including personal initiations and rare and little-known practices and principles.
A selected and closed group meets for one week of intensive shamanic work each year for three consecutive years. Participants need to be persistent and stable. The insights and learnings should be put into shamanic practice.
New Three Year Program
The 15th European Three-year Program of Advanced Initiations in Shamanism and Shamanic Healing™ will start in May 2024.
Location: presumably Tuscany / Italy.
Time: May 2024 - May 2026 / first meeting: 05 to 11 May 2024.
Working languages: English / Italian.
Workshop leader: Roland Urban, M.A.
COSTS:
Tuition fee: € 990 per year (subject to changes).
Additional costs for accommodation and food (full board): to be announced.
Prerequisites for Application
Successful completion of the following workshops: The FSS Basic Workshop: “The Way of the Shaman®” AS WELL AS the advanced in-person workshops “Shamanism, Dying, and Beyond”, “Shamanic Extraction Healing Training” and “Power Soul Retrieval Training” – all taught by authorized FSS Faculty Members. In addition, some experience in practical shamanic work.
You commit yourself to participate in all three years – i.e. 2024, 2025, 2026 (with one meeting per year, 7 days each, about the same time of year, and most probably at the same venue). The group of participants is regarded as unchangeable.

If you want to take part, please send an informal letter of about two A4-pages in which you describe yourself as a person. Add an image of you (portrait photo) and a list of the workshops that you have already completed with authorized teachers of the Foundation for Shamanic Studies (state with whom, where and approximately when).
