Roman Steiner

Roman Steiner was born in Basel, Switzerland. Already as a young boy of six years of age he has had conscious contacts to other worlds, through intense dreams and ordinary incidents. Since his childhood he has been on the search for like-minded persons as well as for advice to understand the world he encountered.

After having been trained as orthopaedic technician and after freelancing as streetworker and cultural manager he got to know Buddhism and Shamanism in 1998. He has developed close ties to Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche as well as to the Foundation for Shamanic Studies. He has found his home and deep inspiration in the buddhistic and shamanic worldview.

Roman Steiner is father of two children, is working with psychologically challenged persons and offers shamanic and Bön-buddhistic work in a group practice.
